Crossroads of America Scout Band 2001 Tour
Day 6

Well I'm sorry to say that there aren't any pictures today as we have been traveling all day, so I'll fill you in on some of the happenings of the week.  These are probably in no particular order, and of course, the facts may have been changed to protect the innocent ;)

The Chinese Laundry Ladies did a wonderful job again this year.

Miss Jeannie managed not to run over Mike while she was maneuvering the bus around some very tight turns today.

Although we tried, nobody fell (or was tossed) overboard during our cruise yesterday.

There seems to be a roving poker (euchre) game on the bus at all times.

An awful lot of people gave me incorrect e-mail addresses and so aren't getting any mail from us :(

FRS radios are a pain in the tail.

Nobody got seasick.

Everybody got bitten by bugs at the scout camps, Ed and Peg got tick-ed off :)

We ate brook trout, chicken and steak tonight at the Weaverville Milling Company in Weaverville, North Carolina.

We are now in North Carolina for two days.

Lewis tried to scrape all of the skin off the bottom of his foot on the bottom of the last places pool.

Scott is part doberman pincher.

Mr. Bill is black and blue.

Scott and Dana are about to loose all the hair on their legs for some reason.

We had a visit from either the Blues Brothers or the Three stooges during the last camp concert, OK, well they looked like the Blues Brothers, and did a lot of dancing, but one of them looked like Curly!

Hmmm, let's see, JP, Adam, and Pat ARE the three stooges :)

Ed is entertaining the entire third floor of the hotel tonight.

Some of the guys have stopped watching TV and have been playing football in the parking lot at night.

Mary Jane has changed her name to Mai Jing.

Miss Jeannie and Mary Jane jogged two miles the other day.

Jodi is also doing a lot of running.

Some of us REALLY need a shower ;)

One of the girls rooms has become a very loud giggle factory.

Well, that's enough for now.....

More Tomorrow, stay tuned, same band time, same band channel!
