Welcome

Days 7 and 8

Some folks just can't get away from work no matter what.  Here's Dana giving a class in pouring ketchup out of a full bottle at the restaurant over the Reversing falls..

These are the reversing Falls, the view was interesting, but we didn't get to see the reversal, we didn't have time.

Today we returned to the good ol USA, we spent two and a half hours waiting in line at St. Stevens Canada and only a few minutes each crossing into the USA, We're BACK!.

This really IS the border!

We saw a lot of lighthouses while we were away, this was on the river we crossed at the border.  It's the last one we're going to see for a long time.

We got to the concert at the Roosevelt Scout Camp right at supper!

We had a good time here, the only problem was with the State Bird of Maine!

As usual, the camp had a few fine musicians who we conned into playing with us!  Names will be coming later.

The campers seemed to like things just fine!

Howard must be part Bat, it was so dark that we couldn't see, this picture was taken in infrared.

This is Thursday, you are now looking at Mt. Washington the highes peak east of the Mississippi River

Here is the view from our room at the Von Trapp family lodge, it's really cool here!

We ate a harty meal!

Mine was really good, that's shrimp and scallops.

The flower was an orchid and yes it's edible, and YES I ate it!!

Howard wasn't sure, so we split a apple strudel and a german chocklit cake, pretty fancy!

Wouldn't you like to meet these two walking down a dark alley?  We haven't decided yet, they're either Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy or Frick and Fract.!

Ths is another of those days when we got really busy, I am late again and I am not able to upload here anyway.  I'll get it all up ASAP!

That's it for now, come back soon!
