Today, we went to church, then we got lost in North Dakota, but we did get to see Flasher
North Dakota and some interesting terrain, Bill even saw a road runner!
Today was our first full day at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, SD.
Due to the security restrictions and lack of access to phone lines there were no daily updates to our tour pages
while we were here.
Our first excursion took us to Wind Cave National Park, then through
Custer State Park, SC where we were supposed to see, some BISON!,
then on to the Crazy Horse Memorial (we didn't have time to go in).
After this we went to Mount Rushmore where we played a concert for the crowd.
This was probably the largest crowd we've had for a long time, and they loved it!

OK, we did see ONE of the largest free roaming herd of Bison in the world.
And Prairie Dogs!  Yep, it's really in there!
They were a little far off, but we did get to see some of the pronghorn deer in the park.
We did stop for a little bit to eat, as evidenced by the tasty morsel being gobbled
down by drummer Adam Thomas.
Our next stop was one of the best.  Mount Rushmore is probably one of the most spectacular
places in the country!  We arrived late in the day (but we were on time!)
And there was plenty to see!
The Stage at the amphitheater of Mount Rushmore.  This was truly an experience, there were
nearly a thousand people from all over the world in the crowd, and here we are under the four
presidents!  Never before has the band played for four at once!
Tomorrow.......Devil's Tower and wash day!
